Here are some samples of suggestions that we have received.
- "Before furloughs become mandatory, you should consider asking staff and faculty to take off one day this year without pay. The day could be a the convenience of the employee and their supervisor, and could also be scheduled at a time when it would have the least impact on one's total income."
- "I would like to suggest that we consider turning most of the lights off in the Psychology Building on weekends and in the evenings. They seem to be left on all the time, and there are no controls in the halls so that the last person leaving can turn them off."
